Today, in a bid to stop miscreants from scamming their customers, TalkTalk took the unusual step of blocking all Teamviewer traffic on their network. Scammers have been conning people into allowing their computers be remotely accessed, using a variety of commonly available tools, but mainly Teamviewer, according to TalkTalk. If you use Teamviewer to remotely access your office computer from home, and you use TalkTalk at home, then you may find that you’re unable to do so.

Such a move is considered to be a bit of a ‘sledgehammer to crack a nut’, so if you are affected, please do give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll find a way around the problem.
